Portland Trail Blazers great Jerome Kersey died Wednesday at the age of 52. The cause of death is not known.
Kersey played 11 seasons for the Trail Blazers, helping lead them to the NBA finals in 1990 and 1992. Arguably his best season with the Blazers was in 1987-88 when he averaged 19.2 points, 8.3 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.6 steals.
